12. DO YOU DO HAIR OR KNOW ANYONE WHO DOES?I have staff that does light hair styling, making sure that hair is in place for photos and video. For boudoir and glamour portraits only, she applies basic hair volumizing techniques. I maintain a list of hair stylists—many of whom I contract or work with on a regular basis—and can provide referrals, as requested. Please note that most of the hair stylists I work with do separate contracts.
-
13. ARE YOU ABLE TO SERVICE CLIENTS OF DIFFERENT ETHNICITIES OR DIFFERENT CULTURES?Yes, all my staff are qualified in multi-cultural skin tones.
-
14. ARE FALSE LASHES NECESSARY? CAN I OPT OUT OF USING THEM?Yes, because it’s a vital finishing accessory to my makeup package. I customize lashes for your eye shape, choosing the right volume and length that works best with the whole complete makeover look. We would have to discuss your overall makeover on a case-by-case scenario to opt out. Eyelashes can be as natural as your own lashes, and no one would ever guess you have them. They are highly recommended for maximizing the optimal makeup look.
-
15. DO I NEED FULL MAKEUP IN ORDER TO HAVE A MORE NATURAL LOOK?It may sound like too much makeup, but don’t worry, it’s not so! For event makeup there is only one makeup option that is called “full application”. It can be either natural or bold to match your preference. People often confuse Natural and Glam makeup application when the process is the same, it is the color choices that determine the look. For example, people often confuse Natural Makeup with simply using Neutral or Nude Colors. Natural makeup doesn’t mean faster or easier application. A no-makeup look can even be more complex because it requires very precise work.
-
16. CAN I BOOK PARTIAL MAKEUP SERVICES? JUST EYES OR JUST FACE MAKEUP?Unfortunately, I don’t book partial makeup services. It is only a full application that can guarantee the most flawless result. However, “full” makeup doesn’t mean heavy or bold. Even if you are a little skeptical about foundation, we can always go with very light and sheer coverage. But it’s still a very important step to even out your skin tone.
-
17. CAN YOU ACCOMMODATE A LARGE WEDDING PARTY?Absolutely! If your bridal party is 6 or more, I will bring an additional artist that I’ve personally trained or worked with. I also have great assistants who accompany me to most weddings regardless of size. They help me with setup, cleaning and staying on time.
-
18. HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO DO MAKEUP?1 hour to 1 hour and a half.
-
19. I AM HAVING A DESTINATION WEDDING, DO YOU TRAVEL?Definitely! Destinations weddings require an add-on travel package. This will include ground transportation, flight, hotel accommodations and meals. The same will apply to brides more than 1.5 hours away from Little Rock, Arkansas.
-
20. AT THIS TIME, I’M NOT SURE HOW MANY IN MY BRIDAL PARTY CAN COMMIT TO YOUR SERVICES, CAN I STILL BOOK YOU?Yes, once I’ve received a deposit for your bridal package, additions to the number in bridal party can be made. How much time is needed in advance of the event to add additional people? Any additions will require payment and schedule accommodations and will be discussed during that time. In the event a request for additional to people, on the day of service, require immediate payment in full prior to services being rendered. Those additions can only be made if time permits and at the discretion of the Artist. I do not travel for less than 6 clients in one setting.
-
21. DO YOU OFFER A TRIAL/DEMO BEFORE MY WEDDING DATE?Yes, although it is not required before the wedding date. There is an additional fee of $150, for a trial. If you know that you for sure want to book me for the wedding, the trial fee is waived and given complementary after paid deposit. It allows us to get to know each other and decide on a look that works best for you. We will discuss wedding colors and makeup choices to compliment those colors. During the trial I will complete two different eye looks, finish the face, pick lash strips, that are suitable for your eye shape, and test lip colors to finalize your look for that special day. Plus, you get a chance to live in the look and think about any adjustments you will want on the wedding day.
-
22. I HAVE AN IDEA OF THE LOOK I WANT, BUT I’M NOT SURE. CAN YOU GIVE ME SOME OPTIONS DURING THE TRIAL?My process during the trial begins with us recapping details discussed during our phone consultation. I then create a bridal look that combines your requests with my aesthetic. I usually start off natural and build up the glam as we go.
-
23. I FOUND SOME INSPIRATION LOOKS ONLINE; CAN YOU MAKE ME LOOK LIKE THAT?Every artist has their own unique aesthetic and you the client also have your own unique look. Skin tone, facial features, eye shape and bone structure all play a part in how we apply makeup. Therefore, I don’t try to recreate an image but instead take what you like about it and make it work for you. A lot of what you see on social media platforms are heavy applications and edited photos. As an artist I can see when a look is full coverage with lots of powder. To you it might look natural but it’s only natural in color.
-
24. I HAVE OILY SKIN AND I MAY SWEAT A LOT, WILL THE MAKEUP LAST?Today’s technology in makeup has come a long way. Combined with technique and specialty products my makeup kits are formulated to hold back the shine and withstand the sweat. Light touch ups may be required it just depends on the individual and severity of their skin condition. I will make suggestions if I feel it is necessary at the time. Remember to use an Oil Control Moisturizer even if you have oily skin because it will assist with reducing the over production of oil in your sebaceous glands. It is a myth that if you have oily skin, you should not use moisturizer and that is far from true!

25. ARE CHILDREN ALLOWED?No children unless they are being serviced.
-
26. IS IT OK IF I USE MY CELL PHONE DURING MY SERVICE?No cell phones please. They are a distraction and slow down the process.

All of those factors contribute to smooth skin texture which makes for a smoother, more radiant makeup application. I am an Esthetician so I am able to provide all of those services ahead of time via a scheduled appointment.
